Jeremy Vines Makes an Honest Man of George Galloway
George Galloway has been nominated as one of the country’s Most Honest Politicians. Radio Two listeners have voted him as one of Top Living Politicians today.
In a poll for the Jeremy Vines programme on Radio 2 another prominent anti war campaigner Tony Benn , Robin Harper (EU Green Party) and Mo Mowlam are also in the running for the title of Most Honest Politician.
After the smear and allegations made against Mr Galloway this poll comes as a boost to those of us standing by him. Other nominees are William Hague, Margaret Thatcher, Anne Widdecombe, Oliver Letwin and Tony Blair.
George Galloway says: ‘Four out of ten prominent anti-war politicians have made it to the short list. I am obviously delighted to be one of them and to be voted on a programme whose audience is frequently described as the Daily Mail of the airwaves just goes to show how the strong the anti-war sentiment is in this country.
