Oh, you Hindu awake! In the name of teaching comparative religion, the Mumbai–based Islamic Research Foundation ridicules Hinduism and Christianity The booklet with the above title has been published by the Save Hinduism Campaign Committee, Calcutta. Written by a Hindu who is an M.A, PhD. — from the US at that — the booklet is ideal for the purposes of the Islamic Research Foundation (IRF). The US degrees are presumably convincing proof of the complete veracity of the author’s views in the eyes of the ‘educated’ section of the Muslims that the IRF caters to. The author, Dr. Radha Kamal Chatterjee,
writes in his introduction to the booklet:
In the last section of the booklet,
the author writes:
To reach God, treating fellow human
beings with love, justice and equal rights is a duty upon the believer.
Most religions preach these ideals...On the other hand Hinduism teaches
a man how to cheat and enslave people in the name of ‘Religion’. With this
technique 5% (Brahmins) of India’s population have control over 95% of
its people.
The back cover of the book carries
a “WARNING”:
A pamphlet on Christianity carries the title “JESUS WAS NOT A SINNER, BUT...” on the cover. The story continues inside: “...The new testament proves: Yes,
he was. The Quran proves: No, he was not.”
“Question 1: Is it a sin to preach
hate?
It must be clear to all that the believers of the New Testament (present day Christians) bluff everyone when they say, ‘We love you’. If they believe in Jesus of the Bible, then HATE for their near and dear ones is fundamental. How can they ever love outsiders like us? Question 2: If a person orders the slaying of his enemies who will not allow him to rule over them, is he a sinner or not? The answer from any person from any
religion especially Christianity will be a resounding ‘YES’.
This statement sounds more in keeping with the sinful commands of Hitler, Attila, Mussolini, Ghenghis Khan and other Butchers of the world.” The pamphlet ends with the words:
Yet another pamphlet (above) seeks to teach Muslims how to get rid of ‘pesky missionaries’ who come to propagate the Bible. It shows a smug Indian Muslim defeating a Christian missionary — a foreigner named John — by quoting verses in the Bible that say no poison would affect a believer. Ahmed, the Muslim character, offers him a glass of strawberry–flavoured caustic soda, which John must drink in order to prove his faith. John runs away rather than face the trial. This pamphlet is not produced by the IRF, but is part of the free literature it distributes. |
